Woyzeck Quartet

Georg Büchner’s Woyzeck meets Alban Berg’s Wozzeck in a ground-breaking Greek-German production/construction. An in vitro experiment, it interweaves criticism of today’s European reality with post-modern irony and creative sarcasm.
 
The Woyzeck Quartet, performed by the “Contemporary Quartet of a United Europe” directed by Elli Papakonstantinou plays with the fragmented image of the timid revoutionary, the contemporary worker and the ‘modern’ citizen of Europe and subverts them.
