Heroes of Aristophanic comedy
An exhibition of costumes, photographs and audiovisual material

The Museum first opened to the public in 2001; it organises exhibitions each year that run during the performance season of the Epidaurus Festival. The Museum houses an important historical collection relating to past Epidaurus Festival performances, which includes costumes, masks, props, photographs, and audiovisual documentary material.

This summer’s exhibition is dedicated to the heroes of Aristophanic comedy. The exhibition highlights landmark productions in the history of the Epidaurus Festival through the work of costume designers who have collaborated with the Hellenic Festival over the years.
