Following its smashing success last year, The Persians, the Cyprus Theatre Organisation production, directed by Aris Biniaris, continues on a triumphant course this year. Featuring a stellar cast of Greek and Greek Cypriot actors (Karyofyllia Karambeti, Haris Haralambous, Nikos Psarras, Antonis Myriagos), the young Biniaris, who has already been distinguished for his electrifying performances in recent years, delivers a crackling mixture of poetic language, music, and stage action.
The July 1st performance at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus is already sold out and another performance has just been added on June 30th to meet the increasing demand.
