Yesterday, 17 July, audiences at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus had the opportunity to enjoy a truly enchanting, spellbinding experience under the stars. Leonidas Kavakos, one of the world’s leading violinists, stood alone at the heart of the ancient theatre, performing Bach. In the great healing centre of the ancient world, the major soloist shared with us a rare, uplifting moment; a musical prayer for the age of the pandemic.
