Bus transport to Epidaurus available for Festival audiences

Once again this year, Athens & Epidaurus Festival offers a convenient and inexpensive transport by bus to Epidaurus for spectators planning to attend performances at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus and the Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus. Spectators can purchase a bus return ticket of just 11 euros through the Festival’s website (greekfestival.gr), visiting the individual webpage of the performance they plan to attend.

After purchasing a return ticket for an Epidaurus performance, audiences can then use the code found on the ticket to book a seat on the bus bound for Epidaurus on the day of the performance. The deadline for booking seats on the bus is 17:00 on the day before the departure.

Buses bound for Epidaurus will depart on performance day at 17:00 from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, at Syntagma Square.
For the performance Eumenides, which will be presented on 14 & 15 July at 06:00, the bus will depart for Epidaurus at 03:00.
The transport service will also include audiences attending the free screening of M. Cacoyannis’ film Electra on 30 June at the Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus. Purchasing a free admission ticket from the Festival’s website before booking a seat on the bus is mandatory.
